Welcome to Philippine Otaku Society. A new circle of friends made for anime fans and lovers. We, the founders AyaFreya, Ran and Belldandy formed this society to gather up all the otakus out there all over the country. From the word "otaku" meaning anime fanatic, we support any types of animes and anything related to anime like manga, japanese rock (j-rock), japanese pop (j-pop) and so much more!

     We officially made and launch this society on March 19, 2007. With our teamwork, creativity, knowledge and experience we decided to form a group that will let all of you be guided through-out animes. Anime is not just a type of show that we can watch on TV, it is more wider than you could ever imagine. Because of this, we want you to see the real anime world. We're not limiting ourselves in learning more about animes, and were proud to spread and share our knowledge to everyone, to encourage and make you experience the true anime like updates, conventions and activities, showing the latest coverage and upcoming events here in the Philippines.

     We also want to get-to-know each other as individuals and true otakus, sharing interest, stories, knowledge, meet-ups and EB. Having new friends, being close to each other are one of the objectives of this society. To have a strong bonding and friendship that will last for a long time.
