in Taguig, for the second time around! If you think the H2H last June
2, 2007 is the last, think again, because here we are again ready to
hoe and sift and shove those earth and sand as we will be having a PART
2 in Habitat for Humanity in Taguig this coming NOv. 10, 2007.

Join RO2's Second Habitat for Humanity Activity! You, your family,
and friends are invited! Help build a house (or a medium rise
building) for our less fortunate brothers and sisters. ^__^
Where – Rotaryville Family Townhomes, Taguig
When – November 10
This will be a whole day event. We will meet at 7AM, start at around
8AM, and then end at around 4 or 5PM.
Who
can come: 18 years old and above, those not expecting something in
return (this is an outreach, baka!)..for minors (17 and below) you
need to sign a weaver and make your mom and dad signed it, bring it on
that day and show it to us!
How we will go there:
Commute
We will meet at 711 (behind Jollibee, not the one along EDSA)
Guadalupe and will leave at 7AM. Yes, it is VERY early since we need
to be at the site by around 8AM.
Car
For those bringing cars, you may go directly to the site. Please be
there by 8AM.

What to bring/wear:
1 Water - lots of it. Mainit po sa site
2 More water - Mainit po talaga sa site :p
* based on our experience, 1 gallon water = 2 people (approx. 100 lbs
per person) ^_^
3 Food for around 3 friends (potluck tayo) – please bring utensils na
rin (spoons, forks, plates, cups)
4 Around P50.00 for jeep fare, preferably loose change
5 Gloves - Please be ready with them
6 Cellphones – full battery and with load. In case you want to
contact someone
7 Sunblock lotion (only if you want to)
8 Wear closed shoes please – preferably comfortable rubber shoes.
9 Long sleeves or sweatshirts – for those who do not want to get a
tan ^_^
10 Wear pants/ work clothes - no shorts or skirts or japorms please
11 Hat or cap (optional
12 Change of clothes
* Do make your outfit simple. We will be construction workers for a
day ^_^
Kuya Vinny's notes:
-While working, maximize your work. We are doing this for a cause.
-If you are entrusted with tools, refrain from playing with it.Safety
concerns dictates this.
-As volunteers, we maybe required to work with the foremen, the
recipients of the houses and volunteers from other delegation so be
in your best behavior. Ok lang kung after the work at tayo-tayo
lang.Hehe.
-In addition sa clothes,make sure that the clothes you're wearing are
really for work. In other words, we are rquired to get dirt or paint
on depends of what type of work we are gonna do for that day. Hindi
po tayo pwede mag-japorms. So remember, WORKCLOTHES.

I would like to emphasize that if you are 17 years old or below, it
is a must to have your parent/guardian sign the form. No form, no
work :)
